Founded in 1943 by Reuben Nadler, Nadler's Meats continues to be a small, family owned and operated business located in Wellington, Missouri. Nadler's originally began as a meat processing company owned and run by Reuben and his wife, Edith, where they processed approximately 2000 beefs and hogs annually.
In 1971, Reuben's son, Glen Nadler, joined the family business. Glen's desire to expand the family business from processing into cooked products prompted the creation of the company's first summer sausage in 1975. Since that time, Glen has expanded the cooked products into snack sticks and a variety of summer sausages which the company has offered to consumers for decades. In 1987, Glen's wife, Sally, joined the family business, and Glen and Sally took it over as Rueben and Edith retired. Sally expanded the business into catering, and Nadler's Catering currently serves catered meals to approximately 90,000 people annually.
In 2002, Shelly Nieweg, the daughter of Glen and Sally, joined Nadler's and focused the company's efforts on offering gift boxes which includes a variety of products offered by Nadler's Meats.
In 2015, Glen and Sally's son, Chad Nadler, created "Nadler's Meats" focusing on the cooked products that Nadler's had been providing to customers for decades. Chad's prior experience with corporate America brought a desire to bring Nadler's Meats online and into every kitchen table in the U.S. Together, Chad, Shelly and Glen expanded the company's products to include a larger variety of snack sticks and summer sausage including the always popular Cheddar Jalapeno Snack Sticks. In addition, Chad and Shelly expanded the variety of gift boxes offered to customers including an option to customize the gift boxes with client and company logos.
