I moved to nearby Lexington recently and found Nadler's jerky at a local farmer's store. I bought some of the cracked pepper and garlic jerky as well as some of the sweet and spicy. Both of those flavors were outstanding, but I especially loved the cracked pepper and garlic. I was a little curious about the label that advertised "whole muscle", but I think I realized that this meant that it either lacked any type of filler or that it was very lean. I believe that the beef jerky I bought was actually both of these things. This stuff was beefy, had almost no fat, and was superbly seasoned. The lack of fat did not result in a reduction in flavor, but instead added a fresher taste and also gave the meat a more pleasant, non-greasy texture. I am looking forward to trying more of their products and highly recommend that jerky fans give them a try. Support local!
